Bariquins Becomes an

Authorised Dealer for

Emergency Evacuation Equipment

& Training (3ET) Ltd

When we our instructing during our bariatric casualty training courses, we use a combination of equipment that we take along with us, as well as kit owned by the organisation that we are providing the training to. The products that we take along is apparatus that we have researched and found to be the best for the situations that it is expected to be used in. That is, real world usage, as opposed to training scenarios that we created. After all, the training is to prepare for actual incidents that people are expected to come across in their daily duties.

For some months now, we have been using the EvacPRO+ Emergency Evacuation Stretcher in our bariatric casualty training courses and it has been very well received. Due to the EvacPRO+ capabilities, its easy-to-use design of fastenings and handles, plus its manoeuvrability (even with the Bariquin within it) it has become a favourite piece of kit amongst our trainees.

Due to the interest in the EvacPRO+ along with the Bariquin, several enquiries have been received, asking if the two items could be purchased together.

Happily, we can now report that they can, as Bariquins has now become an Authorised Dealer for Emergency Evacuation Equipment & Training (3ET) Ltd (www.3et.co.uk).

Emergency Evacuation Equipment & Training (3ET) Ltd (like Bariquins) are a UK-based company that manufactures their products in the UK (as does Bariquins). The two companies share other similarities, making this relationship an excellent association between the two.

Amongst the properties of the EvacPRO+ that we love are the impressive load limit of 400kg and the ability for it to be used on a patient with a circumference of up to 4 metres. Add in the robust design, and you can see why we at Bariquins enjoy using the EvacPRO+, as do those training with it do too. Plus, it rolls up into itself for storage and for ease of carrying it.

Bariquin Assembly Powerpoints

Following a couple of recent requests, Bariquins has put together a set of powerpoint presentations that assist those unfamiliar with assembly of the Bariquin. They are also a useful reminder if there has been a break since the last time the Bariquin was assembled and you need a gentle reminder.

The 3 in the series so far are:

The Storage of the Bariquin Components in the Storage Set

Some of the slides of the powerpoints have notes attached to them which are visible underneath the slides. These will assist you, so don’t miss them.
